Several other attempts have failed. I tried using the latest version of Retrospect (7.6) hoping that will fix the glitch in recognizing the catalog on my external USB hard drive. It wouldn’t and subsequently the temporary OS started looping. I ended up calling Dell Support and requested for my OS CD hoping this will get me to install the OS successfully first and then copy over the data. Waiting for the disk to come and the holidays rush will slow it’s arrival.
