The most destructive weapon to lasting Happiness

From personal experience, I have found the most destructive thing to maintain happiness is Anger. With anger, you loose the ability to maintain sound judgement. Without good judgment, you make incorrect decisions and form wrong opinions. It is a vicious cycle. I have noticed periods of time when there was lack of anger in me and I was at the happiest. Yoda’s saying comes to mind easily.

‘Fear is the path of the dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.’

To add, suffering leads to misery. Fear hasn’t led me to anger; but anger itself has been counter-productive almost always.
