Fire – week 2 @ Toronto

I headed back to Toronto last Monday to continue investigating issues with performance. I was hoping to find time to explore the city after work one of the days but that was not to be. The weather was fickle to say the least. Wednesday was bright and sunny at around 70 degrees. When I stepped out for dinner, it was chilly around 45. I had gone back to Fresh on Spadina; this time around the soup was good. But I didn’t enjoy the entree or the drink. The drink was warm and had chavanprash in it; I was thinking that would be great but not the case. Thursday morning I started catching a cold and by the time I was on the plane, I was sick. I somehow managed to drive back home with bouts of cough almost blanking me out while driving. I was out sick Friday and the whole weekend. It took me almost a week to gain back my energy level. We had guests on Saturday to add and I was no help. But the get together turned out to be great.
