Sydney’s Harbour Bridge during day and night. A great place to get either a workout or a breeze in your face. To get a workout, book the Bridge climb. This is about a 4 hour endeavor and will set you back by about $230! You get about an hour worth of preparation including changing your clothing into all custom, wind-cheating ones. You cannot carry any cameras, even spectacles are tied up so they don’t fall. The climb itself is not hard at all, with steps most of the way . We didn’t do the climb ourselves, but heard average fitness is good enough. You get to the very top and you should have spectacular views. For me, without a camera is a big let down, so I didn’t miss it as much.
If you want to, you can just walk across the bridge. Note that the entry points to the bridge aren’t right at the bridge itself, you need to get onto the road – so do your research. Still be prepared for a 90 minute outing. Sydney’s sees a lot of rain, thus just plan you day based on weather. I would do the walk early morning or late evening as the sun on the horizon makes the surroundings dramatic.
