Searching for the lost child…

In my native language, there is a saying to the effect ‘keeping the child on her waist, she was looking for it everywhere else’. In India, it is  a sort of traditional way to carry a young child on the mother’s waist – not always, but when the child is tired or crying, etc. You don’t have to go far to find what you really want. It is the stupid mind that seeks solace elsewhere and not seek where it is.
