Man is a social animal, then why?

“Man is by nature a social animal; an individual who is unsocial naturally and not accidentally is either beneath our notice or more than human. Society is something that precedes the individual. Anyone who either cannot lead the common life or is so self-sufficient as not to need to, and therefore does not partake of society, is either a beast or a god. ” Aristotle

Man needs company. Man needs attraction. Man needs confirmation. Many needs affirmation. He needs acceptance. He wants recognition. He won’t stop from getting all of these and more. In all of these, he find joy and happiness and even peace, as each individual defines it on their own terms. But, when he can’t find these, he finds rejection. He reacts. He distrusts. He directs his ire at seemingly innocuous things. As a result, he shows himself off as someone who is not himself or herself. When God created man, he made a male and female. This sort of attraction is a necessity for His own good. However, man’s need to be part of a society i.e., finding acceptance amongst his peers is something that He wanted more. If you go by the premise, that all are the same and all are parts of Him (am I sounding religious?), then it makes perfect sense. If so, then why is there so much discord in this world? It isn’t God’s doing by design.

By design, as I said, it is to find acceptance amongst others. He should work to achieve this. But by man’s own doing, he stops taking this to the full extent and starts finding rejection and stops himself. This is his own doing. Hence there is discord. You might say that God created a reason for man to find acceptance. If so, then he should show the way to work out differences. That is where God failed. There is so much evidence to back this statement, right? Think all the atrocities that is occurring – why so? It is because some man wanted to have it his way and didn’t find acceptance. As a result, he promoted separatism and started to gather his own followers. Maybe this man thought he was right in his so doing; he failed to see acceptance as God defined it and instead promoted his own definition of acceptance. Coming back to the premise of this blog – if God created humans to see the many forms and enjoy Himself, why did he create a path for discord and the ugliness that ensue? Don’t tell me it is Karma and life after death, etc. You have one life to be happy and nothing more.
