I have probably written numerous times on stress and how I handle it. Yoga surely helps and exercise, etc, etc. All these you can read anywhere on the internet or in hard-form. One thing that I have learnt clearly is that your breath is your friend in times of stress. When you are stressed or even when you are getting distracted, you have to turn your attention to your breath. Watch and feel it as it enters your nostril and follow it on its journey in and out. Just the fact that you tell your mind to take attention away from whatever that is causing stress or the distraction is a great starting point. Just a few moments of noticing your breath and following it does wonders to the state of mind. We have to thank God twice for the breath – once for its life-sustaining ability and secondly for helping us maintain balance.
