Life has been complicated but life with a new smartphone has been simple! My iphone certainly has made a difference in my life! That is, I haven’t spent too much time trying to figure out what I need to change on my smartphone. That was how it was with my Android all these years. Now I know I can rest in peace that I just cannot change much – I have to accept whatever I am given :). There is no question about a Google Now and trying to tweak it for me. There is no need to install a specific version or later of Google Search for Google Now to work. Most of those feature, if not all, is available on the iPhone without way too much noise. The phone feels solid yet flimsy. I mean the build quality is way superior to the Samsungs – there is no plasticky back or the cheap shell. The whole thing feels premium and worth the price I paid for it. The screen is just crisp and bright and vivid. Watching videos is sweet. For the first time in the past 12 years or so I watch most of a movie – ‘The Martian’ – on my way back home from San Jose. The other good thing is I don’t have to struggle to sync my music to my iTunes library. I had spent way too much time and money 🙂 [relative to the App world] in trying to get iSync from JRTStudios to work. That app never worked well -it would skip syncing some files and never would update the ratings without me stumbling every time I had to install. You get it, just make your life simple – eliminate unnecessary things that you have taken up to do in the recent past and you will realize how much more time you have! Here are some photos I took on my iPhone 6 Plus. Today I am going on a long 11 mile hike on the Red Trail at Green Lane park. Looking forward to it. The weather seems good. It was the last hike I did with my dear friend Shiva who passed away in an untimely manner. I will catch some pictures and post after I am back.
